Recognised as one of the world’s leading Designer/Bespoke tailors, Paul Jheeta has come a long way. In a competitive world of Menswear, Paul overcame the barriers of a close-knit establishment to become the youngest Indian and best true bespoke tailor to succeed in Savile Row.
Paul Jheeta completed his degree in accounts and economics. Whilst training as a pilot as an air-wing cadet he realised that his true passion and talent lay in fashion and tailoring. It proved to be a judicious career move.
After graduating successfully in intensive pattern cutting, stand modelling and garment making for ladies and menswear Paul was engaged by Anthony Price, the British designer and well-known ‘image maker’, working as his senior design assistant, pattern cutter and fitter. Paul welcomed the challenge, trained and worked on men’s bespoke suits at H. Huntsman & Sons Ltd and Maurice Sedwell before moving to become the master tailor for Chittleborough & Morgan at Nutters Ltd.
The ‘Paul Jheeta’ label had arrived.
In the past two decades Paul has worked with top bespoke tailors and designers. ‘It was an honour to learn and gain experience from their unique and interesting ways’ says Paul. Paul spent many hours perfecting the art of becoming a master bespoke tailor with a passion so strong that it has become his life’s work. The perfecting of a finished garment consists of honest hard work backed by years of skilled craftsmanship.
Paul’s discerning clientele are those looking for the exquisite quality and style which makes the Paul Jheeta brand unique. All the garments are exceptionally cut using only the best fabrics which are well-tailored and finished with an edge to compliment the distinct personality of the wearer.
